Primary Intervention Tutor

Attention all education professionals!Prospero Teaching is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Tutor to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in the Christchurch (BH23) area.This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor, qualified teacher, or experienced education professional who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. Working mornings only, you will provide targeted support in English and Maths, helping Year 5 pupils build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare for the next stage of their education.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation: Christchurch, Dorset (BH23)Position: Year 5 TutorSubject: English and MathsStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingHours: Mornings only (part-time)Minimum Rate of Pay: 25- 30 per hourTHE ROLEAs a Year 5 Tutor, you will:Deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group tuition.Support pupils in English and Mathematics in line with the Year 5 National Curriculum.Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs.Monitor progress and complete session feedback.Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.Work closely with school staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSDesirable, but not essential:QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly Year 5.Previous experience in a UK primary school.Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year.TO BE ..... full job details .....
