Primary HLTA

Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) wanting to gain valuable classroom experience before securing your first teaching role? Vision for Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton to appoint a dedicated HLTA to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

The Role

You will work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher release time, providing targeted interventions and supporting pupils to reach their full potential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for ECTs to develop their confidence in leading whole-class learning, build classroom management skills and gain experience across different year groups within a supportive school environment.

Requirements

• Hold HLTA status or relevant classroom experience suitable for the role.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to broaden their experience.
• Experience working within a UK primary school.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
