The Role:
As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils through 1:1 guidance, small-group activities and general classroom duties. You will help children stay engaged, understand instructions and complete learning tasks with greater confidence. You will also support the class teacher with daily routines, classroom organisation and pupil interaction throughout the school day.
 
The Candidate:
This role will suit a creative graduate who is enthusiastic about primary education and keen to make a positive impact in the classroom. You should be patient, reliable and confident working with pupils who need different levels of support. Requirements

  • 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
    • A genuine interest in primary education and supporting pupil progress.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain tasks clearly.
    • A patient, proactive and encouraging approach in the classroom.
    • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
 
The School:
This Willenhall primary school is looking for a graduate who can provide consistent support across the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff, gain valuable school-based experience and help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
