As a Primary Cover Teacher, you will provide day-to-day and short-term classroom cover, including sickness cover and last-minute staff absence. You will be expected to confidently manage a classroom, follow existing lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged and well behaved. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential. QTS or previous teaching qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
