We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Primary Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rugby on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively, using data to inform future planning.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Support pupils'' personal, social and emotional development.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and attendance.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, school events and extracurricular opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to motivate, engage and inspire young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting the welfare of children.
- A flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to school life.
