This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and engage with learning.You will work within a supportive and specialist environment, supporting children aged 4-11 who may display challenging behaviour, anxiety, or difficulty with emotional regulation. This role is ideal for someone who understands that behaviour is a form of communication and is committed to a therapeutic, child-centred approach.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.Implement individual behaviour plans and use de-escalation strategies to support pupils in managing their emotions.Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to adapt learning and promote positive engagement.Build trusting, consistent relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model.Support pupils during transitions, unstructured times, and daily routines.Monitor and record pupil ..... full job details .....
