Day Rate: CompetitiveContract: 3-month contractLocation: RemoteOverview of the Pricing Data Engineer roleSellick Partnership is currently supporting a leading insurance organisation as they look to appoint an experienced Pricing Data Engineer to support their Pricing team on an interim basis.This is an immediate requirement for a highly experienced SQL specialist to support a busy pricing function with the re-coding, optimisation and testing of complex SQL data extracts. The successful candidate will work with large codebases and support the delivery of pricing data extracts in line with agreed templates and project timescales.Key responsibilities of the Pricing Data Engineer will includeReviewing and rewriting complex SQL code snippets, including large-scale codebasesSupporting the re-code of pricing data extracts in line with agreed templatesCompleting end-to-end testing, validation and productionisation of data extractsOptimising SQL code, query performance and execution plansSupporting pipeline execution through Azure Data FactoryUsing Azure DevOps boards and repositories to manage code and delivery activityWorking with version control tools such as GITCollaborating with pricing stakeholders to ensure data extracts meet business requirementsRequired experience for the Pricing Data Engineer position will includeAdvanced SQL experience, including dynamic SQL and code optimisationStrong experience reviewing, rewriting and testing complex SQL codeExperience with Azure ..... full job details .....
