Pricing Analyst

My client is a dynamic and forward thinking fleet management organisation currently looking to appoint a Pricing Analyst. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in the automotive sector and strong analytical and numerical skills.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Pricing team with administration and analysis tasks.
Responsibilities: -
• To keep up to date on the latest vehicle product information within the industry including new vehicle releases.
• Working towards assisting in the Residual Value (RV) Risk Review and the regular review of the vehicle portfolio reporting on future RV profit/loss forecasts.
• To provide assistance in the RV Review, both in the creation and implementation of all RV and pricing actions.
• To process manufacturer vehicle pricing data updates on a regular basis and prepare communications of the manufacturer changes.
• To update and maintain the company’s vehicle databases, which include the Service Maintenance and Repair budgets, manufacturer terms updates and to assess the resultant output.
• To advise and provide assistance in all maintenance budget setting including car and LCV vehicles, as well as public sector and contract specific vehicles
• To ensure that all current vehicles on the system have a Residual Value (RV) either from override values or via benchmarking.
• To use the insight survey results to identify errors within the pricing database. Providing analysis of the pricing data when required.
• To assist the business with general queries relating to vehicle pricing.
• To maintain the pricing within the quotation system for standard discount and customer specific manufacturer discounts.
The ideal candidate will be able to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure and possess strong analytical skills. You will be IT literate with intermediate levels of Excel and the ability to learn new software programmes quickly. Although not essential, it is advantageous if you have previous experience of working within the automotive sector.
