As a Prevention and Enforcement Officer, you will be delivering an efficient and effective prevention and enforcement service throughout the Borough, including but not limited to:Issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) within council car parks.Taking a partnership approach to anti-social behaviour, gathering evidence for fly tipping, litter enforcement, investigating under dog fouling legislation, and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN).Investigating offences under the Environment Protection Act and Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act, including securing evidence, interviewing suspects, issuing FPNs, and preparing case papers for court.Undertaking targeted patrols in "hot spot" areas to address offences.Reporting, investigating, and removing abandoned vehicles.Gathering evidence to support actions under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Police Act 2014 regarding Community Protection Notices.A background in enforcement would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training and uniform are provided, along with the support of a friendly team.A full UK driving licence and access to your own car for work are required.What we can offer you:
