About the Role
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working alongside teachers and other professionals, you will help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop independence.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.
  • Assist with personal care when necessary (training provided).
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Record observations and communicate pupil progress to the wider team.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.


What We''re Looking For


Previous experience supporting children, young people, or individuals with Special Educational Needs is preferred; however, we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for making a positive difference.

Transferable experience from roles such as healthcare, care work, support work, youth work, coaching, volunteering, or childcare is highly valued.
