Pressure Tester

Location: Billingham Salary: 14.22 per hour Hours: 8am to 4pm We are currently recruiting for a Hydrostatic Pressure Test Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment. The Role As a Hydrostatic Pressure Test Operator, you will be responsible for pressure testing pipe assemblies to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures. Key Responsibilities Load assemblies into the hydrostatic test bay using overhead cranes. Select, fit, and securely fasten the correct test bungs ("top hats") to pipework. Fill pipework with water and carry out hydrostatic pressure testing. Monitor pressure levels throughout the testing process. Record test results, data, and pressure graphs accurately. Identify, mark, and report any defects to the inspection team. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures at all times. What We''re Looking For Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment. Experience using overhead cranes is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Good numeracy skills with the ability to accurately record test data. ..... full job details .....
