This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Tool Maker to join a busy tool room, working on the manufacture, maintenance and repair of precision press tools used in high-volume production. Key Responsibilities: Building, maintaining and repairing press tools Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment of tooling Diagnosing and repairing tooling faults to minimise production downtime Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Operating conventional tool room machinery, including milling, turning and grinding equipment Supporting production with tool changeovers and breakdowns Ensuring all tooling is maintained to the highest quality standards Following Health & Safety procedures at all times Requirements: Time-served Tool Maker or recognised engineering apprenticeship Previous experience building and maintaining press tools Competent using manual milling, turning and grinding machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and pro...
