Our client an award-winning innovative company supplying parts for the automotive, white goods and construction industry. They have full inhouse tool manufacturing capabilities, due to a toolmaker retiring they have a great opportunity available and are looking for a time served press toolmaker. You will be part of a team repairing, maintaining and improving the tooling performance.

Role Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of press tooling (transfer and progression)

Identifying and carrying out modification to press tools where necessary

Assisting production teams to achieve production targets by supporting with tooling development

Carrying out preventative maintenance

Skills 

3 years in a manufacturing setting preferably working with transfer an progression tooling.

Excellent problem solver with the ability to meet production deadlines

Fully competent on conventional machines including Mills, Lathes and Grinders
