Press Toolmaker

We are seeking an experienced Press Toolmaker for a permanent role based in an established precision engineering company based close to central Birmingham.

This is a permanent job from the outset.- Day shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manufacturing, maintaining and repairing-press tools and tooling.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out precision repairs.
• Technical support - support production teams with too changeovers and-modification requests.
• Tool Trials:-Assemble, test, and adjust new or repaired tools to ensure they produce parts to the required specification.
• Ensuring tooling meets quality and safety standards.

Candidate Specification

• Strong-press toolmaker and progression tooling experience.
• Excellent knowledge of press tooling, maintenance and repair.
• Able to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
• Proactively able to solve problems.
