Press Toolmaker

We are seeking an experienced Press Toolmaker for a permanent role based in an established precision engineering company based close to central Birmingham. This is a permanent job from the outset. Day shifts. Duties and Responsibilities Manufacturing, maintaining and repairing press tools and tooling. Diagnosing faults and carrying out precision repairs. Technical support - support production teams with too changeovers and modification requests. Tool Trials: Assemble, test, and adjust new or repaired tools to ensure they produce parts to the required specification. Ensuring tooling meets quality and safety standards. Candidate Specification Strong press toolmaker and progression tooling experience. Excellent knowledge of press tooling, maintenance and repair.
