Job Description: Press Setter / OperatorAlcester, Warwickshire (B49)Day shift: Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:30, Fri 07:30-12:30 14.54 - 15.20 per hourPermanentOpportunity for an experienced Press Setter / Operator to join an Alcester based Manufacturing business on a permanent basis.The role:Set up and operate presses in line with procedures and job card instructionsAdjust and control press parameters (tool shut height, stroke, tonnage, dwell, lubrication)Use air tools, hand tools and measuring equipment safelyCarry out in-process inspections to ensure components meet quality standardsMaintain accurate WIP records in the MRP systemSupport root cause analysis, continuous improvement and 5S activitiesWhat we''re looking for:1-2 years'' experience in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or machine setting/operatingFamiliar with a range of presses and able quality and manufactruing standardsPositive "can do" attitudeThe role is based in Alcester so is easily commutable from Redditch, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Birmingham.This role is being advertised by Pertemps who operate as a recuitment agency. ..... full job details .....
