Power Press Setter – Temp to Perm
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Pay: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (early finish Fridays)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for an experienced Power Press Setter / Press Operator to join a successful manufacturing and engineering company based in the heart of the Black Country. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with the potential to move into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

- Setting and operating power presses within a busy production environment
- Carrying out tool changes and ensuring machines are correctly set for production runs
- Performing routine maintenance and completing safety checks in line with regulations
- Working to manufacturing schedules and meeting daily output targets

Requirements

- Proven experience working with Bentley or Sweeney power presses (essential)
- Valid ROSPA Health and Safety training (advantageous)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit production team
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
