Press Operator

Press Operator Level 3 / Packer Norwich based. Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shift pattern of early shift 05:45-14:15 and late shift 14:15-22:45. Length of engagement: 6-8 weeks (potential to extend) Technique Recruitment Solutions is working alongside a global print machinery manufacturer based in Norwich. They have a new opportunity for a Level 3 Press Operator/Packer to join their team supporting the No1 and No2 Press Operator to ensure customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, and be a great team player willing to take any any duties as required. Applicants will have a good understanding of production procedures within a manufacturing environment and functional knowledge and experience with packing and manual handling as well as completing paperwork and maintaining a clean, safe and neat work environment Previous experience within a print environment and/or Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential The role is on a rotating shift pattern, 38 hours a week. Required skills • Able to mount / demount plates • Know label test procedures and frequencies • Operate packing line machinery • Able to pack printed labels to specifications • Understanding of pick slips to enable accurate palletising of cartons from production line Key Responsibilities • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained. • Pack labels into cartons as per company specification. • Complete quality control ..... full job details .....
