Press Operator

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses. This role is key to ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Operate progression, heavy manual, and light guard pressesMonitor machine performance and maintain optimal outputCarry out regular quality checks and report defectsRead and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and control plansMaintain a clean, safe working environment (5S)Accurately record production output, downtime, and scrap Skills and Experience: Experience with progression and/or mechanical pressesUnderstanding of manufacturing health and safetyAbility to read basic engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality Desirable: Experience with coil-fed toolingBasic mechanical or maintenance skills Working Hours: Afternoons are 14:00-10:30pm Mon-Thursday and Friday 12:30-17:30pmOvertime may be required depending on production demands About You: Reliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProactive with a focus on continuous improvement To apply, please submit your ..... full job details .....
