Press Brake TechnicianThe Press Brake Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements. The role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products while meeting production targets.The Press Brake Operator is expected to always work safely, complying with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, while carrying out routine inspections, machine adjustments, and basic maintenance. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring equipment, processes, and working practices are maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate press brake machines to manufacture metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate manufacture.Select and install the correct tooling, dies, and machine parameters for each production run.Measure, inspect, and verify completed components using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Make machine adjustments as required to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.Carry out routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance, reporting faults or defects promptly. ..... full job details .....
