This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently set and operate CNC press brakes, interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality folded components to tight tolerances. Working within a busy fabrication environment, you will be responsible for setting machines, bending a variety of materials and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job. Produce high-quality folded and bent components to specification. Carry out first-off inspections and regular quality checks during production. Measure components using engineering measuring equipment including verniers, rulers and angle gauges. Adjust machine settings where required to maintain quality and accuracy. Work to production schedules and achieve agreed output targets.
