Press Brake Setter Operator

We are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our clients growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently set and operate CNC press brakes, interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality folded components to tight tolerances. Working within a busy fabrication environment, you will be responsible for setting machines, bending a variety of materials and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job. Produce high-quality folded and bent components to specification. Carry out first-off inspections and regular quality checks during production. Measure components using engineering measuring equipment including verniers, rulers and angle gauges. Adjust machine settings where required to maintain quality and accuracy. Work to production schedules and achieve agreed output targets. Identify quality issues and report any machine faults or production concerns. Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Support colleagues and assist with other fabrication duties where required. Skills and Experience Essential Previous experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator.
