Press Brake Setter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to produce precise sheet metal components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Duties Set up and calibrate press brake machines according to technical drawings and specifications Operate press brake equipment efficiently and safely to produce accurate bends on sheet metal components Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards Use hand tools, tooling, and measuring devices such as calipers and gauges to ensure precision Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience setting press brakes or similar machinery Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Familiarity with grinding, welding, and assembly processes is desirabl Basic mathematics skills for measurements and calculations Understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and metal fabrication Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a hands-on position within a dynamic manufacturing environment. ..... full job details .....
