Press Brake Operator

Energis is seeking applications for the post of Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client, a global manufacturing company based in Portadown. This is a permanent full time role offering full time day shift hours and an early Friday finish! Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions and bending schedules Measure and check components, ensuring they meet specifications and tolerances Carry out quality checks and complete production records Identify any issues with materials or machinery and report to supervisor Ensure all work is completed to required standards and timelines Criteria: Previous relevant experience operating a press brake machine Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions Health and safety focussed Ability to complete tasks on time and to a high standard Work under instruction from supervisor Excellent teamworking skills Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication Hourly rate is in the region of £16 - 20 /hr depending on experience. Working hours are 39.5 /week. More senior level candidates are also welcome to apply, salary will be in line with experience.
