Press Brake Operator

Pennine Recruitment (acting as a Recruitment Business) are delighted to be recruiting 2 x Press Brake Operators on a temporary to permanent, full-time basis for our prestigious client based in Normanton (West Yorkshire)

Our client based in Normanton manufacture and fabricate steel components for a variety of industries.

The Role (to include but not limited to)

• Operating and setting Press Brakes
• End-to-end machine supervision
• Inspection & Quality control
• Testing product
• Troubleshooting & communicating effectively with supervisors around any manufacturing issues.
• Adhering at all times to recognised safe working practices.

The person

• Ideally have worked in a steel manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Can demonstrate long term commitment to previous roles
• Positive attitude
• Commitment to excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Analytical and process driven
• Ability to work with the minimum of direction and supervision whilst keeping themselves and their colleagues safe.

Hours of work

Rotating days and afternoons- Monday to Friday,

6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm with overtime available paid at an enhanced rate,
