Press Brake Operative NeededLocation- Bradford, BD4A good understanding of EnglishThe ability to meet deadlines, be organised and work individually or as part of a teamThis is an ongoing workWe need someone who can start ASAP.Work Timings- Mon to Thus- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Fri- 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM39 hours paid/weekMust have appropriate PPE. Job Duties :- Operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components. Set up machinery and select appropriate tooling according to job specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions. Load, position and handle metal sheets safely. Adjust machine settings to achieve the required dimensions and bend angles. Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards. Use measuring equipment, including callipers, verniers and angle gauges. Identify and report any machine faults, defects or quality issues. Carry out basic machine checks and routine cleaning. Follow company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Work effectively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and targets. Previous experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Pay Rate : 15.59/hr PAYEOur client is a highly skilled professional building contractor, delivering quality projects for clients across London.
