Press Brake OperativeLocation: Stoke-on-TrentHours: Full-Time, DayshiftWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pmPay Rate: 14.50 - 15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join our busy manufacturing team in Stoke-on-Trent.The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components to specification. Applicants ideally have previous experience operating either Amada or Trumpf press brake machines and be capable of working from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Press Brake machinery.Read and interpret engineering drawings and works orders.Select appropriate tooling and set machines to required specifications.Produce components accurately and consistently to customer requirements.Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.Measure and inspect finished products using gauges and measuring equipment.Ensure work is completed to required tolerances and quality standards.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Complete production paperwork accurately.Support the wider production team as required.Adhere to all company Health and Safety procedures.Skills and Experience RequiredEssentialPrevious experience operating CNC Press Brake machines.Ideally. experience using Amada or Trumpf machinery.Ability to read ..... full job details .....
