Experience with laser cutting machinery would also be advantageous, as the workshop operates a Boxford BFL(Apply online only)W Fibre Metal Laser Cutter.Key Responsibilities Set up, operate and programme the Amada HFE 130T Press Brake.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Select and change the appropriate tooling.Produce folded sheet metal components to tight tolerances.Carry out quality checks and inspections on finished components.Adjust machine settings and programmes where required.Operate the fibre laser cutter where required and experience allows.Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Work as part of the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines.
