Salary: £16.23 – £17.38 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake & Guillotine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in South Kirkby. You will operate metalworking machinery to prepare components for fabrication and finishing, ensuring accuracy, quality and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate press brakes, guillotines, CNC plasma cutters and band saws.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings to calculate cutting sizes.
• Set up machinery and inspect finished components.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.

Requirements:

• Experience operating relevant metalworking machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Working Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm & Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm
• 40 hours per week
