Press and Small Fabrications Operator

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading precision manufacturing company in Romford for an experienced Press and Small Fabrications Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business manufacturing high-quality components for safety-critical industries. The successful candidate will have experience operating press machinery and carrying out small fabrication work within a manufacturing environment. The Role Set up and operate press machinery to manufacture precision components. Carry out small fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. Perform basic forming, bending and pressing operations. Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Use measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances. Complete production documentation accurately. Work closely with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing targets. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Requirements Previous experience operating press machinery within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience with small fabrication, forming or sheet metal work. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques. Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
