The successful candidate will support the paint department, preparing lighting components for painting and finishing. Responsibilities will include surface preparation, sanding, masking, priming and assisting with spray painting, ensuring all components meet the required standards of quality, consistency and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare lighting components and manufactured parts for painting and finishing. Clean, sand, rub down, mask and prime surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Set up and prepare spray painting equipment, ensuring it is ready for use. Mix and prepare paints and other materials in accordance with the required specifications. Assist with spraying and finishing components to achieve a high-quality finish. Carry out visual inspections to identify defects such as drips, uneven coverage, scratches or imperfections.
