Premises Manager - SchoolWe are seeking a proactive and reliable Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and security of our school site. Reporting to the Head, you will ensure the buildings, grounds, and facilities are well maintained and operate efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the school, including overseeing a small team and external contractorsHandle site security, including opening/closing, alarm checks, and emergency responseCarry out and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and minor works across the siteMaintain heating, plumbing, electrical systems and general facilitiesEnsure grounds are clean, safe, and well presentedSupport health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and record keepingAssist with deliveries, furniture moving, and school events as requiredHours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (flexibility required for events and occasional overtime)About You:Practical, hands-on experience in maintenance or caretakingAbility to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and work independentlyConfident liaising with contractors and staffBasic IT skills and strong awareness of health and safetyFlexible, reliable, and able to respond to emergenciesThis is a varied and active role requiring a strong work ethic, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment. ..... full job details .....
