Preconstruction Surveyor
Due to continued company growth, we are looking to recruit a Preconstruction Measurement Surveyor to join our vibrant team at Willmott Dixon Construction, in Cardiff. With the vast majority of our projects being negotiated and gained through frameworks, we can offer you a rewarding work environment where you can see the results of your hard work. Upon successfully joining Willmott Dixon, you will deliver both Early-Stage Cost Plan Quantities and Stage 4 Bills of Quantities, on time, and to the highest quality.
Our range of projects cover but are not limited to education, healthcare, defence, commercial, leisure and blue light sector work, with construction costs typically between -10m and -100m.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Undertaking project take-offs accurately and efficiently to produce cost plans and bills of quantities with a high degree of commercial and technical knowledge in accordance with the bid timescales.
- Measuring in accordance with the Standard Method of Measurement 7th Edition (SMM7).
- Using Microsoft Excel.
- Using measurement software such as Bluebeam.
- Using Conquest estimating software.
- Proven ability of reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
