Pre-School Lead Practitioner

Job OverviewWe are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly effective individual with a true passion for early childhood education to lead our Pre-School Room.As the Pre-School lead Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. You will utilize child interest planning in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to offer an array of engaging and diverse activities tailored to meet the individual learning needs of each child in our care. Your commitment to nurturing, professionalism, and understanding of early childhood development will be key in providing a safe stimulating environment where children can explore play and grow.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Develop and implement best practices and policies to enhance service delivery.Monitor compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.Plan and implement engaging activities to help support the children''s learning and social development.Ensure high standards of care are maintained within the room at all times.SkillsStrong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in guiding teams towards achieving their goals.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.Proficient in problem-solving, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.Sound Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices within the industry.For this role you will need:A relevant recognised level 3 in early years or aboveMinimum of two years post qualification experience working in a day nursery, Ideally with Pre-School children.Relevant Safeguarding TrainingPaediatric First aid Qualification.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a significant impact within our organisation while fostering growth and excellence among practitioners.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee discountFree parkingHealth and wellbeing programmeEducation:Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)Experience:Nursery: 2 years (required)Work Location: In ..... full job details .....
