Pre-Production SchedulerBasildonSalary Negotiable depending on experienceA well-established, leading, major fit out company working in the commercial and high-end residential sectors are keen to recruit a Pre-Production Scheduler to be responsible for ensuring design release information, drawings and production packages are fully co-ordinated for each project.Duties: Manage design release and pre-production information, ensuring drawings, revisions, requisitions and documentation are accurate and ready for manufacture.Coordinate production planning, including trackers, project programmes, samples, cutting sheets and production drawings using 2D/3D CAD.Identify long-lead materials and support procurement, obtaining quotations, negotiating costs and coordinating Free Issue Materials.Manage subcontractor and outsourced manufacturing, coordinating enquiries, production, logistics and delivery schedules.Monitor project KPI performance, identify risks and maintain effective communication with Design, Production, Procurement, Site and external suppliers. Skills and Experience: Extensive knowledge of joinery and associated materialsThe ability to read production drawings.Competent in the use of 2D AutoCAD and 3D CAD softwarePrevious experience within a similar roleHighly organisedProficient in Microsoft Window Software PackagesMust be an effective Communicator with excellent attention to detail as well as being a team playerExperience of Project management would be preferable ..... full job details .....
