Salary: Up to -34,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

The Role

We are recruiting for a Pre Press Operator to join a busy studio and production team.

• Receive job bag instructions and check artwork and proof status, liaising with CSR or clients where required
• Prepare artwork and pre-press files using Adobe Creative Suite and imposition software
• Use systems such as Insite and Kodak Prinergy within the production workflow
• Check documents, images and graphics for accuracy and visual quality before print production
• Ensure proofs and mock-ups are approved and signed off in line with workflow procedures
• Communicate updates to relevant departments and ensure job bags are amended accordingly
• Carry out general maintenance of pre-press studio equipment
• Ensure all studio jobs are completed on time and within production schedules
• Attend meetings to support workflow and business operations
• Follow health and safety procedures and ensure proper care of equipment

About You

• Strong Mac and PC skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and editing software such as PitStop
• Experience using Insite, Kodak Prinergy, ESKO or workflow MIS software such as PACE advantageous
• Experience with Litho impositions beneficial
• Previous experience within a Litho and Digital print environment
