The below job description will outline this position of: Pre-Preg Laminator - Marine Typically, this person will manufacture high-quality composite components for marine applications using pre-preg materials. Working from technical drawings and laminate schedules, you will prepare tooling, carry out accurate lay-up and vacuum bagging, and prepare components for curing. Duties and responsibilities of the Pre-Preg Laminator: Prepare moulds and tooling, ensuring surfaces are clean and release agents are correctly applied. Cut, position and lay up pre-preg materials in accordance with drawings, ply orientations and laminate schedules. Work with carbon fibre and other specified composite materials to manufacture marine components. Carry out debulking and vacuum bagging, checking bag integrity and resolving leaks before curing.
