We are a growing personal injury law firm based in California, seeking a self-motivated Pre-Litigation Case Manager. You will ensure smooth office operations and effective case management, providing a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. Responsibilities
Communicate with clients regarding their medical treatment and case status
Open claims with insurance companies
Obtain liens from Medicare, medical, and health insurance providers
Coordinate property damage inspections with insurance companies
Manage medical treatment arrangements on a lien basis
Obtain medical records and bills from providers
Prepare demands to insurance companies
Manage and maximize medical treatment for policy limits settlement
Negotiate medical liens
Qualifications
Experience as a Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or Legal Secretary
Knowledge of daily operations in a legal office
Computer literacy
Proficiency in English and Spanish
Familiarity with case management software
Strong organizational and secretarial skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Ability to analyze medical records
Excellent communication skills to manage client expectations
