Position Summary
Pre-Delivery Inspections on a wide range of platform lifts, ensuring all quality and safety checks are completed and recorded prior to customer delivery. All tasks must be carried out safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities of a Pre-Delivery Inspector

• Quality assurance and safety checks on completed platforms prior to delivery to customers or other depots.
• Identify and resolve issues on products.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Prep, clean, and ready equipment for shipment.
• Inspect surfaces for minor paint chips/scratches and complete touch-ups.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Report safety issues immediately to management.
• Support team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• Carry out full function tests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• NVQ Level 2/3 in motor mechanics or similar.
• Good standard of English and Mathematics.
• IPAF 3a/3b, LOLER, FLT or other access-industry certifications (desirable).

• Minimum 12 months in a similar environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Detail-orientated with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
