Pre-Construction Manager

A leading construction contractor are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager, taking a key role within the pre-construction team and supporting the successful development of projects from initial enquiry through to handover into delivery. This is an office-led hybrid position, ideally suited to someone with a strong construction background who can coordinate the commercial, technical and operational elements of the pre-construction process. The Role As Pre-Construction Manager, you will take ownership of projects during the pre-construction phase, working closely with estimating, commercial, design and operational teams to develop competitive, technically robust and deliverable project solutions. You will act as a key link between internal teams, clients, consultants and the supply chain, ensuring opportunities are properly assessed and successfully transitioned into construction. Key Responsibilities Manage projects through the full pre-construction and tender process. Coordinate input from estimating, commercial, design and operational teams. Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings and programme requirements. Develop construction methodologies, logistics strategies and project programmes. Identify key project risks and opportunities at an early stage. Work closely with clients, consultants and supply-chain partners throughout the tender process.
