Pre Construction Engineer (Electrical)

Our client, a leading organisation in the water and wastewater sector, is seeking a Pre-Construction Engineer (Electrical) to support the successful development and delivery of major infrastructure projects on a contract basis. The role will provide electrical and MEICA expertise throughout the pre-construction phase, helping to establish robust cost, risk, procurement and delivery plans before work begins on site.Key Responsibilities:Provide and coordinate operational and matrix input throughout the pre-contract phase of water and wastewater projectsManage the MEICA elements of pre-construction activities across a portfolio of projectsSupport the development of target costs, risk registers, procurement schedules and comprehensive delivery plansManage, mentor and support Pre-Construction Engineers and Assistant Pre-Construction EngineersReview design partner deliverables to ensure compliance with contract, design and regulatory requirementsCoordinate client gate stage approvals and internal governance requirementsPlan and implement pre-construction surveys, testing and inspections to support design developmentCoordinate civil and MEICA technical interfaces, optimising solutions while maintaining compliance with relevant standardsManage medium to large work packages through to transition to the operational teamAct as an electrical Appointed Person where requiredLead supply chain interfaces, ensuring enquiries are suitably prepared and quotation returns are robustly ..... full job details .....
