Key Duties and Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of small business clients for all bookkeeping and accounting services Reviewing and preparing accounts to trial balance Prepayments and accruals Preparing and submitting VAT returns Bank reconciliation, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control Management accounts preparation Fixed asset register maintenance Dealing with and resolving queries Bookkeeping quality control Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience working in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within an accountancy practice Experience managing a portfolio of clients and working across multiple businesses Strong technical bookkeeping knowledge, with the ability to work confidently through to trial balance Practical experience preparing and submitting VAT returns Experience preparing management accounts Excellent attention to detail and a methodical ...
