Practice Accountant

WebbHR Consultancy is partnering with an established, growing accountancy practice in Anstey. The firm provides a full range of services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of varying sizes and complexity, covering accounts preparation, tax returns, VAT, payroll and compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their team on a part-time basis (three days per week), working closely with the Directors. As a Qualified Accountant, you will: Work alongside the Directors to help manage the practice on a day to day basis. Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and partnership tax returns. Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT returns and MTD submissions. Liaise directly with clients, handling queries promptly and professionally and building long-term relationships. Contribute to improving internal processes and maintaining a consistently high standard of client service. This is a hands on role with genuine input into the practice, offering a strong work life balance. Our client is looking for someone who is: Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years'' experience in an accountancy practice.
