Practice Accountant /Client Manager
Full-time | Permanent | Based in North Wales
Join a forward thinking and fast-growing accountancy practice offering a full range of accounting and advisory services. We''re looking for a Welsh speaking, proactive and reliable individual with solid practice experience to support our expanding client base.
This role would suit someone qualified (or part-qualified) with several years of experience preparing accounts and handling tax compliance within a UK accountancy practice.

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Experience of farm accounts beneficial
• Maintain and reconcile client accounts, including control accounts
• Calculate accruals, depreciation, and other adjustments
• Submit VAT returns and assist with personal tax returns
• Carry out general bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
• Proofread accounts, tax returns and supporting documentation
• Assist with wider practice support and ad hoc accounting tasks
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and personal tax
• Recent practice experience (ideally 3+ years)
• Confident user of online accounting software - especially Xero
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Clear communication skills and a professional manner
• A team player who''s confident dealing with clients
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (client visits may be required)
• Competent Welsh speaker
