Your new companyI''m working with a well-established UK-wide accountancy firm to recruit a Qualified Accountant for their growing North East operation based in Wynyard. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant who enjoys client interaction, technical review work, and being part of a vibrant office environment.Your new roleMy client operates a strong, well-resourced accounts function, with qualified accountants responsible for preparing the bulk of client accounts. As a result, this role is not heavily focused on accounts preparation. Instead, it is centred on:Reviewing and approving statutory accountsEnsuring technical quality and complianceActing as a key, visible adviser to business clientsYou will be based full-time in a modern, friendly office and play an integral role in maintaining high standards and strong client relationships across the North East.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and sign off statutory accounts prepared by the wider accounts teamEnsure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal quality proceduresManage and build relationships with a portfolio of business clientsAttend and lead face-to-face client meetings to discuss accounts and performanceProvide guidance and feedback to accounts preparation staffSupport senior management with client delivery and workflow planningIdentify opportunities to add value to clients and contribute to wider advisory discussionsWhat you''ll need ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Proven experience ..... full job details .....
