Practice Accountant

A well-established accountancy practice near Wokingham is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join their friendly team. This varied role supports both the accounts and tax departments, working with a portfolio of SME clients. The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience. You will be fully officed based in the firms offices close to Wokingham. Main responsibilities for the Practice Accountant role are: Accounts preparation for SME clients (FRS 102 Section 1a and FRS 105). Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and CT600 s. Advising clients on salary and dividends. Preparation and review of Personal Tax Returns. Assisting with MTD for Income Tax Returns. Be the first point of contact for allocated clients, responding to various client enquiries in an accurate and timely manner. Review the work of other members of staff. Develop an ongoing, effective relationship with clients and ensure retention of clients. Working within a team to ensure deadlines are met and be able to work independently.
