Practice Accountant Location: Ferndown Salary: Up to £35,000 per year, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Company We are working with a growing and well-established accountancy practice in Ferndown, who are looking to recruit a Practice Accountant to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The Role The successful candidate will ideally be ACA, ACCA or AAT Level 4 qualified, either part or fully qualified, with previous experience working within an accountancy practice. You will manage a varied portfolio of clients and be responsible for delivering a high-quality accounts and tax service, while building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities Preparing and submitting VAT returns. Preparing statutory accounts. Preparing corporation tax returns. Reviewing client financial records for accuracy, completeness and compliance. Managing day-to-day client queries and requests. Communicating professionally with clients by telephone, email and Microsoft Teams. Managing internal and external email queries. Maintaining accurate internal records and processes. Following up with clients to obtain information and documentation. Working towards defined performance targets and KPIs. Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
