Are you a PR professional, journalist or communications expert with a talent for spotting compelling stories and turning them into headline-worthy coverage?
We''re recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and growing organisation looking for an experienced PR & Media Manager to lead proactive and reactive PR activity across a diverse portfolio of brands and clients.
This is far more than a traditional press office role. You''ll shape PR strategy, build strong media relationships, advise clients and colleagues, and deliver campaigns that make a genuine commercial impact across local, regional, national and specialist media.

The Role Working as part of a collaborative marketing and communications team, you''ll:
- Develop and deliver PR strategies aligned with wider marketing, reputation and commercial objectives.
- Identify compelling news angles and transform complex topics into engaging stories.
- Write high-quality press releases, feature articles, thought leadership pieces, case studies and executive commentary.
- Pitch stories to journalists and editors across print, broadcast, digital and trade media.
- Secure meaningful media coverage that enhances brand reputation and visibility.
- Deliver both proactive campaigns and reactive media responses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and key media contacts.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring exceptional service, delivery and measurable results.
- Collaborate with colleagues across marketing, digital, events and communications to deliver integrated campaigns.
You''ll bring a strong understanding of storytelling, media relations and strategic communications.
You''ll ideally have:
- 3–5 years'' experience in PR, communications, journalism or media relations.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Excellent news judgement and the ability to identify strong media opportunities.
- Experience pitching to journalists and securing earned media coverage.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and client stakeholders.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, commercially aware and ideas-driven approach.
