PQ Accountant

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with one of our key clients in the engineering sector for the position of a Part-Qualified Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing company in a vital role within the finance team. Day to day duties of this role will include: Support the finance manager, when necessary, with projects and analysis Probe financial performance and provide notes on variances within the budget and forecast Adhering to strict deadlines of month end processes Cooperate with internal partners to give financial information and analysis Assisting with the readying of yearly statutory accounts and tax returns Maintaining strict compliance with accounting regulations and practices Spot areas for improvement and apply the changes to drive efficiency The perfect candidate will possess the following key components: Studying towards completion of their ACCA/CIMA professional qualifications Excellent analytical expertise and the ability to understand and palpate data Strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Excell skills and other accounting software Exposure of working in a busy and fast paced team environment and the ability to strict deadlines.
