The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Blackpool. The role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced teachers who are eager to inspire and engage young learners.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching that promotes academic progress, personal development, and a love of learning within a nurturing classroom environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback
  • Differentiate learning to meet diverse needs and abilities
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Contribute to staff meetings, CPD, and the wider life of the school


The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (or placements for ECTs)
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
